The nyquil is telling me to post something
Posted 02.04.09That's right, I'm sick as a dog. And I'm tired of people seeing that last post as a first impression. The whole point of this was to do a mostly anonymous blog, but that failed fairly quickly. (Also, I'm too cheap to pay for protected whois)
I'm still going to try to go the route of putting it all out there for the internet to not care about. At least more of it than makes me comfortable. I'm my own boss, so I don't have to worry about a scared PR dept firing me. That takes the liability down heaps, and frees me up to write more freely.
Today, the topic is my terminal disease. Disease, because the only thing keeping me going is some 12 hour slow release, and terminal because I choose to wait out my sickness the same way I wait out most of my health, in front of one.
I tried looking for trends on Twitter to see if anyone has put together a way to geographically plot trends. They haven't, and I mostly just found people who are "fed up", rather than quarantined. They're not going to take it lying down.
Gripe: Hiro never would have chosen that as a password. A little more security for your secret lair guys.
Result: I will still watch religiously. (By religiously I mean being really happy it's on again the following night because I forgot on Monday)
